Frequently asked questions

How much do art lessons cost? Summer camp?

A one time fee of $75 per semester covers the cost of supplies and activities (art show, art contest, etc). The cost of classes is $85 per 4 weeks. Summer camp is $250 ($50 due upon registration, $200 due on the first day of camp).

What if a month has more/less than 4 weeks?

The calendar for the semester is always carefully crafted to ensure that there are 16 weeks per semester (four 4 week sessions). Example: Fall Semester 2019 Monday class: Aug. 26 (1 session) Sept. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 (5 sessions) Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 (4 sessions) Nov. 4, 11, 18 (3 sessions) Dec. 2, 9, 16 (3 sessions) Total: 16 sessions. To make it simpler for everyone, fees are due on the first lesson in September, October, November, and December.

Do I need to stay for lessons? Can I stay for lessons?

Parents are not required to stay for the duration of the lessons. Drop your kid off if you'd like, I'll wave from the door to let you know I've got them. You are, however, welcome to stay for class.

Why are your dogs barking?

The dogs, while extremely friendly, can get a bit excited with so many children in the house. We keep them in a separate part of the house so that we can focus on creating art. This also ensures the comfort of any student who is afraid of dogs. They may bark a bit, but don't worry! They're only kept separate while students are in the house.
